Our Pastoral Staff

Father Carmen Malacari is from Utica, New York. He was ordained by Bishop Howard Hubbard at Our Lady of Angels in Albany, NY in 1993. Father has served in the Diocese of Charlotte since 1993 as parochial vicar at St. John Neuman Church, St. Patrick Cathedral and St. Matthew Church. He also served at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse, NY.

Rev. Mr. Jim Atkinson met his wife Penny in college and they have been married for 41 years. They have three grown children and eleven grandchildren under the age of 13. In addition to his diaconal duties Jim still maintains a full time job in management with a subsidiary of Duke Energy, and Penny is an occasional substitute teacher at Mooresville High School.
